Taipei, Taiwan 8th of November 2021.
Netberg’s SONiC platform code for Aurora 715 and Aurora 615 Innovium Teralynx-based switches is accepted into the official GitHub repository. The code follows community standards, delivering robust and proven software infrastructure for open network switches.
Innovium has made a point in supporting SAI from the start – the SDK APIs use SAI’s CRUD model. Combined with high-quality platform code, it enables customers to experience an extremely stable deployment.
“We work on the master branch to keep our switches aligned with the latest сontrol plane developments,” – said Andrew Sapronov, CTO of Netberg. “At the same time, we push SONiC.202012 as the production release and base for our upcoming Enterprise SONiC distribution. Intel Tofino will be the next platform to receive full support and hardening from us.”
