Netberg is proud to present its groundbreaking solution for the HPC customers and advanced data centers – Netberg Kratos 2 Aqua rack system with liquid cooling on the compute nodes based on the Open Compute specification and Kratos 2 product. It’s an important milestone in the improvement of our HPC offering with the leading-edge design.
The Netberg Kratos 2 Aqua rack system is now available for worldwide shipment for proof of concept evaluations and production deployments.
Netberg Kratos 2 Aqua design:
Based on the 21″ OCP rack standard, the Netberg Kratos 2 Aqua brings great values of the open design that eliminates proprietary hardware lock-in and next level of energy savings and reduced service downtime. Racks are designed for centralized power, hybrid cooling along with industry-leading serviceability in mind.
Unlike any other liquid-cooled solution available on the market, Kratos 2 Aqua is truly integrated from top to bottom to provide a solid user experience with a single pane of glass management capability of all rack resources. Compute, cooling, and power subsystems are monitored by a rack management controller to deliver optimal performance on all levels.
Benefits of Netberg Kratos 2 Aqua:
Netberg offers complete building blocks for the HPC application – 1U three node compute servers are complemented with the storage nodes in the same rack. Flexible networking options include InfiniBand, Intel OmniPath and up 100G Ethernet for any budget and application requirements.
“Data centers and HPC users face significant challenges to energy efficiency, density, flexibility, and agility,” said Alex Ustyuzhanin, CEO of Netberg. “We have developed our Kratos 2 Aqua rack system with these challenges in mind. Based on the open standard, it’s an answer to all needs of performance-demanding customers. Throughout manageability, performance, density and scalability at the off-the-shelf price point.”
