Netberg Ethernet switch portfolio for the data centers is expanded with the introduction of Aurora 630 25G/100G model.
The Aurora 630 is targeted to a ToR/leaf layer with its 48 25 Gigabit host ports and 16 100 Gigabit uplinks. Combined with industry-standard copper DAC cables and SFP-MSA compliant optics, it’s an ideal cost-effective solution for cloud, HPC and Enterprise applications.
Software options include ICOS, a feature-rich L2/L3/SDN web-scale NOS with industry-standard CLI and Linux shell management capabilities, and OpenSwitch, an open source, Linux-based network operating system (NOS) designed to power enterprise grade switches. Open Network Linux with OpenNSL and OF-DPA is available for a custom network application development.
“The new 25G switch is a cost-effective solution which complements our existing offering,” said Alex Ustyuzhanin, CEO of Netberg. “The Aurora 630 has a unique combination of interfaces, it offers not just non-blocking throughput between ToR and Spine layers but even more bandwidth from the 100G uplinks. Its additional 400Gbps of bandwidth may come in handy in many situations with a high-density server packed racks. Our Ethernet switch portfolio is expanding, and we have more products coming”.
All Aurora models are subjects of immediate availability.
