Netberg Demos R250 M4 is a universal 2U server equipped with the latest AMD EPYC processors.

The innovative, record-setting AMD EPYC design, with up to 32 high-performance “Zen” cores and an unparalleled feature set, delivers greater performance than the competition across a full range of integer, floating point, memory bandwidth, and I/O benchmarks and workloads.

Netberg Demos R250 M4 delivers up to 64 processor cores (128 threads) along with 4TB of DDR4-2666 RAM. 128 PCIe Gen 3 lanes are distributed among 6 expansion slots, SAS and LAN mezzanine slots. Optional 1300W PSU modules allow building the most powerful systems with multiple GPU, Xeon Phi, or acceleration cards.

  • Up to 64 AMD EPYC cores and 32 DIMM slots supporting up to 4TB of DDR4-2666 RAM in a single Netberg Demos R250 M4 system.
  • Dual socket AMD EPYC system offers 128 PCIe Gen 3 lanes to expand its communications and compute power.

    Two options are available: four PCIe 3.0 x8 slots + two PCIe 3.0 x16 slots, or 2 PCIe 3.0 x 8 slots + three PCIe 3.0 x16 slots.
  • 800W Platinum PSU modules as a standard option, and 1300W Platinum PSU modules supporting the most powerful configuration with dual 180W CPUs, 32 DIMM modules, and accelerators.
  • 12/24 hot-pluggable drives in 2U chassis for a maximum storage density and optimal storage performance.

    Up to 4 NVMe SSD supported.
  • Two 2.5" SATA drives at the rear for the OS deployment.

    Optional PCIe card for two internal m.2 NVMe SSD drives for high-demanding applications.
  • PCIe Gen 3 x16 OCP 2.0 NIC mezz slot supports up to 100G cards.

    PCIe Gen 3 x8 OCP storage mezz slot offers both HBA and RAID options for better flexibility.
  • Six more PCIe Gen 3 slots are open for future expansion.
  • Netberg Demos R250 M4 servers are equipped with service processors for a total system control via a standard web browser via a complete HTML5 engine. An intuitive GUI allows deployment, configuring, monitoring, diagnostics, updating, and server management.
  • KVM over IP and Virtual Media technologies help system administrators significantly reduce labor costs related to a server control, decrease the number of CD/DVD media with software and install OS on many servers simultaneously through the platform’s secure hardware tools.
  • A new Aspeed 2500 service processor supports SD card storage for useful data: OS images, system logs, screenshots, and recorded videos from the console.
